John Rutter joined TCP Asset Management in January 2025 working at the Greenburg, PA office.

John is a graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in finance. John started his career at Varner Financial Group in 2022 and holds the series 6, 63, & 65 licenses.

With a strong foundation in financial planning, investment strategies, and retirement solutions, John works along side senior advisor, Ashley Varner, to provide personalized advice to each client’s unique needs. John is continually expanding his knowledge through ongoing professional development and certification. John is committed to helping individuals and families achieve financial peace of mind.

John grew up in Medina Ohio and now resides outside of Pittsburgh with his fiancé and bernedoodle, Milo. He enjoys playing golf, spending time with friends and family, and watching the steelers.
